This is Eric Evans, VNR Planning for 2012, with a Beta Nu Chapter update for the start of the Spring semester.
Five of our Beta Nu brothers (Reese Vann, Bo/David Williford, Jody Harris, Austin Joyce, and myself) recently attended the Alpha Gamma Rho Recruitment School, held in Kansas City, MO. Two of these conferences are held each year to train each chapter's Recruitment committee on effective recruitment practices and to develop a successful member recruitment plan to be implemented throughout the year as we strive to bring more quality men into the brotherhood of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. We had a great time meeting brothers from several other chapters and learning how to effectively and consistently recruit men for membership in AGR. Such training is vital to the survival and growth of the chapter, which is especially important now as we are looking to move the chapter forward and take on exciting new challenges.
Here's a picture of our group that attended the recruitment school, taken in front of the AGR Home Office:
On a closing note, with the start of the Spring Semester already upon us, we're excited to start 2012 with commendable commitment and involvement from our members as we work to implement the various philanthropies and other projects we have in the works. It's an exciting time to be a member of Alpha Gamma Rho here at Texas A&M, and we hope to recruit another quality group of guys during Spring Rush to join us as we "make better men, and through them, a broader and better agriculture."
